A londoni Globe színészei adtak elő a hírhedt calais-i táborban, a Csatornán átkelésre váró menekülteknek. A londoni társulat a mostani világkörüli útjára készült előadását mutatta be a közönségnek.

A Dzsungelben közel hatezer ember várja, hogy valami módon átkelhessen a Csatornán Franciaországból Nagy-Britanniába, nekik adtak elő a Globe színészei. A borús ég alatt közel 300 fős közönség jött össze, akik arab és fárszi nyelvű összefoglalót kaptak a műsor előtt, pattogatott kukoricával együtt.

A műsor, amiben Shakespeare leghíresebb darabjaiból szavaltak, a “Globe to Globe” nevű világkörüli turné része. A társulat ezzel William Shakespeare születésének 450. évfordulóját ünnepli. Az áprilisban Londonban véget érő előadássorozat célja, hogy minden országba elvigyék a világhírű drámaíró műveit.
