Senior / Lead Financial Management Specialists
to work at its Headquarters in Washington DC and in a number of country offices. This growing teams of professionals dedicated to building financial management capacity in client countries ensure that appropriate financial management practices are applied to resources made.Positions envolve working on public sector issues, strong private sector accounting and auditing background.
The requirements:
– Professionally qualified accountants (CPA,CA,ACCA,etc.) with university degree
– A minimum of eight years relevant experience (minimum of twelve years for Lead FMS)
– Superior knowledge of international accounting and auditing standarts in the public and private sectors, as appropriate
– Proven ability to review, analyze and evaluete financial statements and reports in diverse sectors and country circumstances
– Demonstrated capacity to work as a member of multidisciplinary team, proven ability to communicate effectively writing and verbally and superior negotiation skills
– Strong command of the English language and knowledge of a second major language is highly desirable
– Applicants should have experience of working in developing countries
– Willingness to travel frequently overseas to borrower countries
