Egymást érik a sérültek, mégis egy hétig a bikáké a főszerep

Idén is egy hétig a bikáké a főszerep Pamplonában. Az 1951 óta megrendezett kilencnapos San Fermín fesztivál fő látványossága a reggelenkénti bikafuttatás, ahol férfiak százai futnak az arénába hajtott állatok előtt Pamplona lezárt utcáin a 875 méterre lévő arénáig. A néhány százezer lakosú város utcáit ilyenkor több millió érdeklődő turista lepi el, a bikafuttatások után este arénában bikaviadalok az utcákon pedig zenés táncos mulatság zajlik. Itt minden korosztály találhat magának elfoglaltságot: bikának és egyéb bábuknak öltözött „bikafuttatás" a fiataloknak és táncverseny az idősebbeknek. Az idei bikafuttatás első napján már öten kerültek kórházba, hármukat felöklelték a bikák. Egy 46 éves amerikainak a nyakát döfte meg egy bika, őt műteni is kellett, egy másik amerikai és egy spanyol könnyebb lábsérülést szenvedett a bikák szarvától. További két spanyol fiatalembert fejsérüléssel szállítottak kórházba a mentők, ők futás közben estek el.
