Csütörtökön indul a világ eddigi leghosszabb repülőjárata Szingapúrból az amerikai New Yorkba, írja a BBC.

A Singapore Airlines öt év után indítja újra szolgáltatását, amit anno azért függesztett fel, mert túl drágának bizonyult.

A gép 19 óra alatt teszi majd meg a 15 ezer kilométeres utat.

A Qantas év elején egy 17 órás repülőjáratot indított az ausztráliai Perth-ből az angliai Londonban, míg a Qatar Airways gépei Auckland és Doha közlekednek 17 órás útvonalon.
