The Roman Catholic Church gets rid of his company in NYC, jumps in a taxi to get away from them. Bad luck that the cab driver recognises him and kidnaps the Pope, who spends two beautiful days in the family of Samuel Leibowitz, who comes up with a genial idea to make a bargain over the Head of the Curch: he makes the world in peace for a day. Right after everything goes the same way.
