Job interview – Part II.

Certainly, a job interview is the personal version of the résumé and the motivational or cover letter put together. During an interview, you envisage open questions ("wh"-questions) to which you should, and are expected, to give brief yet thorough responses.

Once they find a match between you and the position – in terms of qualifications and interests – it is likely that the interviewer will start to discuss the job details while observing you to gauge whether you have a real interest in the offered position.

You will ultimately come to the point when the interviewer asks you about your salary request, so bringing yourself up to date on the salaries available on the market is absolutely essential.

Remember to back your statements and claims so that the interviewer sees they are not unfounded.
